ADHD Assessment
Precision Mind Psychology provides comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults, adolescents, and children. Assessments are designed to explore symptoms of inattention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and executive functioning difficulties across home, school, work, and everyday life.
Each assessment includes a structured clinical process, validated assessment tools, review of relevant background information, and a formal written report with diagnostic opinion and recommendations.
Adult ADHD Assessment
Our adult ADHD assessment is a comprehensive process designed to explore attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and executive functioning across different areas of life. It includes a clinical interview, validated psychometric testing, screening questionnaires, and review of relevant developmental, academic, occupational, and medical history.
A formal diagnostic report is provided, along with a feedback session to explain the findings and outline recommendations for support, including referral to a psychiatrist if required.

Child ADHD Assessment
Standard Package
The standard package involves parent and teacher input, assessment of ADHD symptoms, consideration of potential co-existing conditions, and a formal diagnostic report.
- Initial clinical interview with parent and child
- Completion of psychological screening questionnaires
- Parent and teacher questionnaires
- Review of academic, medical, and developmental history
- ADHD-specific psychometric assessment or school/home observation where appropriate
- Formal assessment report including diagnostic opinion and recommendations
- Feedback session to explain findings and recommendations
Extended Package
The extended package includes everything in the Standard Package, with the addition of cognitive assessment to explore intellectual functioning, learning profile, and broader cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
Additional inclusions:
- Comprehensive cognitive assessment, such as WISC-V
- Expanded diagnostic formulation
- Strengths profile
- Additional recommendations based on cognitive results
Comprehensive Package
The comprehensive package provides a broader assessment of ADHD, cognitive functioning, and learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. This is the most detailed assessment option and provides recommendations across all assessment findings.

- Everything included in the Extended ADHD Package
- Assessment of learning difficulties
- Academic achievement testing, such as WIAT-III
- Integrated recommendations for home, school, and treatment planning
Please note: Psychologists cannot prescribe medication. A paediatrician or psychiatrist is required for consideration of stimulant medication.
