Jack Halse - Registered Psychologist

Jack Halse is a Registered Psychologist with a background in Neuroscience and Psychological Science. Jack works with adolescents, adults, and families to support emotional wellbeing, behavioural development, and stronger relationships. He works collaboratively with GPs, healthcare teams, and schools/workplaces to support collaborative care.

In therapy, Jack draws on a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and motivational interventions. His work focuses on helping clients understand and manage their thoughts and behaviours, build emotional regulation skills, and develop practical strategies that lead to lasting change.

Jack also provides comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for a range of mental health and developmental conditions, including ADHD, learning difficulties, mood disorders, and anxiety. His assessment work helps families, schools, and healthcare providers gain a clear understanding of a client’s strengths, needs, and the most effective support strategies.

Jack’s approach aligns with principles of early intervention, collaboration, and practical skill-building. He creates a calm, supportive, and goal-oriented environment that helps clients and their families manage challenges effectively at home, work/school, and in daily life.

With a warm, direct, and down-to-earth style, Jack empowers clients to gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful and lasting positive outcomes.
